Bio

Mrs. Sylvia Wilhite is a native of Puerto Rico. She attended the University of Puerto Rico where she studied English, French and Italian. In 2005 she graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and a minor in History and Latin American studies. In 2011 she earned a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She started her educational career teaching elementary school, later moving to middle school and finally to high school. Mrs. Wilhite has been teaching for 23 years, having taught in Savannah prior to moving to the Warner Robins area. She is an avid genealogist and historian, enjoys furniture restoring, photography and gardening.  Mrs. Wilhite is married and has two children.
