Mrs. Maloney is originally from Massachusetts. She received her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Stonehill College in Easton, MA in 2000. After 4 years teaching at Danvers High School in MA she married her husband, Tim, an officer in the Marine Corps in 2003. They moved to North Carolina where Mrs. Maloney taught for 4 years at Croatan High school and received her Masters in Math Education from East Carolina University in 2007. Another military move landed them in Charles County Maryland where Mrs. Maloney taught 4 years at North Point High School. The last move brought them to Houston county where she spent 4 years teaching at Wesleyan College before coming to VHS 2017. She has over 20 years teaching experience. The Maloney's have 4 kids, Joey, Hailey, Allyson, and Braden, who are all active, keeping them busy. Mrs. Maloney is one of the assistant softball coaches and the Head Girls Soccer coach. She also loves to read and is a personal trainer.
