Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS)

Veterans is in its third year of implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). The PBIS team consists of 10 school staff members who meet monthly to discuss student discipline trends, behavioral incentives, and resolution methods that would decrease discipline at our school. Ms. Stacy Brunelle leads the team as the PBIS coach with monthly updates about school discipline and identified needs.

PBIS Mission Statement: All faculty, staff, and students will embrace excellence in academics and character in a safe environment.

Veterans High School bases its support for PBIS on the "Valued at the V" theme, where the word VALUE represents:

E - Embrace excellence
