Dana Morris is proud to be a product of the Houston County School District, having graduated from Perry High School in 2001.  Her postsecondary education includes a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Georgia Southwestern State University, a Master's degree in Math Education from Piedmont College, and a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.

She began her career in education as a math teacher at Houston County High School in 2005, then came to Veterans High School when it opened in 2010.  Prior to transitioning into an administrative role, she taught various math courses throughout the years, including Honors Geometry and AP Statistics, and served as the Math Department Chair from 2019 to 2022.

Mrs. Morris is the wife of Tony Morris and the proud mother of two teenage boys, Harlen and Harrison Morris.
