Mrs. Leah Jones has been teaching for 9 years and started her teaching career in Peach County before moving to Houston County in 2017. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Teaching Special Education in May of 2013 and her Ed.S in Special Education in May of 2017 from Georgia College and State University. Mrs. Jones has been teaching students at Veterans High School going on seven years. She is also a sponsor of Partners Club, a club that helps general education students build relationships with students with exceptional abilities. She is also a coach for Special Olympics. Mrs. Jones loves her job at the “V” and is proud to be a Warhawk. Mrs. Jones has been married to her husband, Nathan, for seven years and they are parents to their son, Aaron, and their daughter, Kayleigh. She also likes to read, travel, and watch movies.
