Mrs. Wheeler is originally from Fort Valley, GA and graduated from PCHS in 2014. She received a B.S. in Secondary Education with an Emphasis in English from Grand Canyon University in 2018. Lonna taught for two years in North Dakota before returning to the great state of Georgia. She has experience teaching 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th grade ELA courses. She is also currently pursuing her M.Ed in Secondary Education from Georgia Southern University. The 2021-2022 school year will be Mrs. Wheeler's second year at VHS, and she will be teaching 9th and 9th Honors Literature. She will also be coaching volleyball.

When Mrs. Wheeler is not in the classroom or the gym, she loves to spend time with her husband and son.
