Bio
Shawn Masters is a U.S. Army veteran who served as an Army Ranger. After his four years of military service, he earned his B.S. in Secondary Mathematics in Education from Georgia Southern University. He also obtained his M.A. in Mathematics Education and Ed. S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.
Mr. Masters brings 24 years of coaching experience to his career in education. Before becoming an assistant principal and athletic director, he began his career teaching mathematics and coaching, and later served as a head baseball coach and assistant football coach at multiple schools and head softball coach for Veterans High School.
Outside of school, Mr. Masters loves to hunt, fish, and play golf. He and his wife, Daphne, have two children, Darby and Brooks.
